  • New incentive structure – the 2016 bWell Olympics features four levels of achievement: Qualifying, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. Each level or medal provides increasing incentives for completing activities.

  • Qualifying – You must complete the online Well-Being Assessment and participate in a health screening to qualify for the 2016 bWell Olympics. Once you qualify, you’ll receive a Fitbit to use to track your activity while completing challenges and earning Bronze, Silver or Gold medals.

  • Earn Points – You earn points by participating in challenges. Challenges will help you reduce your stress, find better work-life balance, improve your fitness or nutrition, and many other activities to help you feel your best.

  • Easy activity tracking – You can automatically sync your Fitbit and other devices or applications to the program website, bmc.wellright.com.

  • Grand Prize Trip to Rio – If you earn 7,000 bWell points before May 31, 2016, you’ll be entered into the grand prize drawing — a chance for you and a guest to attend the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in August. The grand prize includes flights, accommodation and a selection of tickets to events to cheer on the U.S. Olympic Team.

  • This Just In! – Not enrolled in a BMC medical plan? No problem. You can compete in the 2016 bWell Olympics. Just complete the online Well-Being Assessment and get a health screening. You’ll earn 1000 bWell points and snag a Fitbit activity tracker. If you earn 7,000 points before May 31, 2016, you’ll be entered to win the grand prize trip to Rio, too!

  • The deadline to earn 7,000 points and qualify for the drawing for the Grand Prize trip to Rio is May 31, 2016.
What is a biometric health screening?

A biometric health screening is a quick, confidential test that builds an overall picture of your health. It provides important health numbers, including measures on cholesterol, blood sugar and more. You will walk away with vital health numbers, and ideas on where you can focus to pursue a healthier lifestyle.

What are the 2016 bWell biometric health screening requirements?

  • On-site screenings: Attend an on-site screening in January. Watch your email for dates and locations.
  • Off-site screenings
    Off-site options include: Dates
    Going to LabCorp with a voucher August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016
    Going to a physician as part of an annual preventive/wellness exam August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016
    Good to know: When you get an annual physical or preventive exam between August 1, 2015 and July 31, 2016, you also qualify for the Annual Physical credit and earn 500 bWell points.
    Using numbers from a 2015 preventive/wellness exam you received between January 1 and July 31, 2015
    • Ask your doctor to complete a new physician fax form and have him or her submit it to Aduro. Find the form at bmc.wellright.com
    • Using numbers from a 2015 preventive exam you received before July 31, 2015 is a one-time-only exception because you aren’t eligible for another preventive exam until after January 1, 2016.

    Please note: On-site screenings or lab vouchers completed or submitted between January 1 and July 31, 2015, do not count toward the 2016 health screening requirements.
