Enrolled in the Aetna Health Savings Plan?

UMB Bank became the new trustee for the Health Savings Account on January 1st. During annual enrollment, you should have opened and certified your new UMB Health Savings Account. If you had a Health Savings Account with JP Morgan Chase Bank (JPMC) on December 31, 2011, your action is required if you do not wish to be assessed a monthly administration fee on this account beginning March 1, 2012:

  • If you had an HSA balance on December 31, 2011:

Consider transferring your balance to your new Health Savings Account at UMB Bank using the HSA Transfer form. If you had HSA funds in an investment account with JPMC, you will need to liquidate those funds into your HSA cash account and then submit your account transfer request.
  • If you had a $0 HSA balance on December 31, 2011:

Close your account using the Request to Close Account form.

If you have already submitted your HSA Transfer form to JPMC, you can check the status of the requested transfer by calling JPMC HSA Member Services at 1-866-524-2483.
