The Your Spending Account (YSA) website now makes it easier for you to repay money you owe to your Health Care Flexible Spending Account (HCFSA), called an overpayment. With the new online check feature, you can view your overpayment online and repay your account by providing your banking information on the YSA website. You no longer need to send a check to YSA through the mail.
An overpayment can occur when information that’s needed to prove that an expense was eligible, such as a receipt, isn't provided or adequate. Overpayments can also result from an expense that shouldn't have been paid by YSA. Once an overpayment is identified, your YSA card will be suspended and you’ll receive an e-mail notifying you that you must refund the overpayment.
