Choose Your BMC Benefits by November 6
If you do not enroll by November 6, your coverage and plan choices will remain the same as in 2026. You must enroll if you want to change your coverage, add or remove dependents, or contribute to a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
You must make new HSA contribution elections each year. You can change your HSA contribution amount anytime during the year. Changes take effect on the 1st of the month after your request.
You must re-enroll in Health Care and/or Dependent Care FSAs each year during Annual Enrollment. If you do not enroll, your 2027 FSA election will reset to $0.
Annual Enrollment FAQs
Do I need to enroll if I want to keep my current benefits?
Even if you’re happy with your current benefits, take a few minutes to review your elections and 2027 costs during Annual Enrollment, October 26–November 6. You’ll need to take action if you want to change your coverage or add or remove dependents. Review the account election requirements below if you want to contribute to an HSA or FSA.
Do I need to elect my HSA or FSA contributions again?
Yes! You must actively elect to contribute to a Health Care FSA, Dependent Care FSA, and/or HSA. Otherwise, your contributions will default to $0 for 2027. An account balance carried forward from a previous year is separate from your election to contribute through your paycheck. Review the 2027 Contribution Limits as you decide how much to set aside.
