Men’s Health Week: June 15 – 21, 2015

Men’s Health Week is celebrated each year as the week leading up to and including Father’s Day. The purpose of the week is to heighten awareness of preventable health problems and encourage early detection and treatment of disease among men and boys.

According to the Centers for Disease Control, Men’s Health Week is a time for men to give their health an once-over and consider a few simple but positive changes: 

  • Get good sleep.
  • Toss out the tobacco.
  • Move more.
  • Eat healthy.
  • Tame stress.
  • Stay on top of your game – see your doctor for regular check-ups.
