Work Hard, Play Hard Update

BMC’s wellness program, Work Hard, Play Hard, is your annual opportunity to expand your potential and become the best possible version of you: physically, emotionally, intellectually, occupationally, socially, and spiritually. 

We are ten months into bWell 2022, and things are heating up at the Work Hard, Play Hard beach. As of July 6, many players are well on their way to Hanging Ten with 8,000 points:

  • 170 have reached the Rest & Relax Level by participating in a health screening and completing the Well-Being Survey. (1,000 points and $100 savings on 2023 medical premiums or a $100 gift card*). * If you choose a cash reward (gift card), the Internal Revenue Code considers the gift card value taxable income.
  • 152 have reached the Sculpt Sand Level by participating in Work Hard, Play Hard challenges (3,000 points plus an additional $200 reward or savings on 2023 medical premiums).

Congratulations to Team DBA StepITUp

Congratulations to the DBA StepITUp, winners of the Surf’s Up Step-It-Up Team Challenge Grand Prize. The team logged the highest average number of cardio minutes during the challenge. Team members include Irwin S., Arthur Y., Melvin A., and Ze’ve G. Each winning team member received a trophy, $250 gift card, and 500 bWell points. Congratulations!

If you participated in the challenge and logged 500 minutes of cardio between May 2 and 27, you earned 500 bWell points. Way to hang ten.

Join the Find Your Wave Challenge and Tame Stress

Summer is the time to cool off, chill out, kick back, and join the Find Your Wave Challenge. Even if you’re tossing your to-do list for a bit, try these quick and easy stress-busting activities. You can earn 15 points per day or 450 points if you complete all activities by July 31. Just be sure to track your daily activity at mybmcwellness.com.
